Computer specs
I re-used most of the parts from my old computer from my Accord, though this time I bought a new touchscreen. Behind the screen sits:
800MHz Via Mini-ITX motherboard, 320MB ram
20gb hard drive ($5 off ebay)
80W Morex car DC-DC power supply
7" Lilliput EBY-701 touchscreen
Always use NTFS, it doesn't become corrupted easily as FAT32, and it allows me to just turn the car off without shutting down the PC first.
The frontend is a little Visual Basic app I wrote, it uses Windows Media Player for song data and playback.
The white knob in the pictures below is my volume control, a stereo pot with a replacement dimmer knob on it.

Sound system
Driving the sound is a Sony Xplod head unit. It's rated for 250W altogether, and will handle about 27W RMS per speaker. I have 250W Kenwood 6.5" 2-ways in front, and 300W Kenwood 6x9s in back.
