Marshall, From the installer page: 2. Poor cartridge connection - data will be interrupted if it crashes Aside from seating the 64Drive and loading a normal game ROM is there any other way to ensure a solid connection? If I am able to load Mario 64 and run around the castle for a minute should that...
Yep. Exact same situation. I didn't put it together until I unplugged everything trying to troubleshoot my receiver. Tested it a few times just to make sure it was the N64. It's pretty minor but I'm glad it's not just me. Yeah. Strange that it causes this issue. Does UltraHDMI mess with the CEC con...
Just got my console back today...wow!! Looks amazing. Definitely noticing the difference with Gamma Boost in some games too...no more muddy colors. On another note, with the N64 powered down, it seems to interfere with HDMI-CEC on my Samsung TV. With the N64 powered up or the HDMI cable disconnecte...
I can not really say much about the audio quality as I am using my internal TV speakers. It sounds good to me though. I think a lot of audio from the N64 is low bitrare anyways due to the limited storage space on cartridges. Do you think the audio is noticeably better when you use RCA? In that case...
1) For games like Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo-Tooie with anamorphic widescreen, will we be able to make this work perfectly on our HDTVs? So if I select widescreen on DK64, I know that immediately the widescreen image will be squeezed inside the usual 4:3 image... will I be able to put my TV on a cert...
Finished my installation today, it went very well, loving the end product! I was slightly disappointed in the lack of audio related options, since the audio is still a tad scratchy, but I'm sure this is something that may change with future updates.
If you want to be an installer (buy kits) just email me as on the front page, I'll send you all the info. We blew through most of my stockpile -- there are some left still, but it looks like I'll have to turn right back around and get more in production! Is the stockpile empty now? So hyped for the...
Really excited to cop one of these from you, megalomaniac. Does anyone (marshall?) happen to know whether this HDMI converter mod will be compatible with Neverdrive 64? Since the mod is for the N64 Graphics/Sound output exclusively, and doesn't alter the way the hardware interacts with the cartridg...
I know Nintendo consoles were spoken of as potential candidates for future ports, but is there any chance of an HDMI board for Sony PSX or Sega Saturn/Dreamcast based on the UltraHDMI's technology?
No he is serious. marshallh released it yesterday and it sold out almost instantly. I got 20 before they were gone. I can't wait to try it out!!! It's too bad he is only planning on doing one run though, congrats to all those that got one! LOL @ troll Can't wait for the release at this point, I eve...
