Of course, all that stuff will be parameterizable, you can adjust the scanline depth, serration etc. Or disable them completely of course

Clarity depends on the native resolution of the display you'll be using. For example I will be using it on a TV with a native resolution of 1080, which means there will be added blur due to the scaling of the 480 signal.
