Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

Nearest neighbor looks passable at 320x240 but interlaced modes look pretty bad, since the height is a non-integer multiple. You can just use direct mode to get 1:1 pixels. There is only about 9 cycles ( 54ns) difference between nearest neighbor and bilinear in my implementation, due to pipelining. ...

Re: v2.01 upgrade hang ={

Did you use the latest menu version? I think 1.12b may have had partial code that would cause a hang, it was completed later. Do you have expansion pak? The hardware itself verifies the firmware before it upgrades itself. So bricking should be impossible except if you lose power during the upgrade. ...

64DD conversions - play on 64drive

http://retroactive.be/img/i/ra554c0663a50040eaf.jpg Zoinkity has been doing a lot of work with software wizardry to make these 64DD games playable on 64drive! Props to him for an incredible amount of hacking necessary to make this possible. Saving and loading is a bit cumbersome as it requires some...

First video released. Scanlines look great only in native 1080p. 60fps, use Chrome or any browser that supports it.

Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

Yes, it WILL be out in 6 months :mrgreen: Probably much sooner.

There are several other graphical toys that I haven't ever seen emulated by any upscaler before. They'll be demoed in some material I will release this weekend.

Re: Question regarding pak saves

It's too large, probably has a header on the beginning.
You can generate a new S&P save and compare it with the downloaded one to see where the "real" data starst, and chop off what's unneeded.
