Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

Hi Marshall, are there any additional graphic output settings you have been looking into implementing in the near future? I'm always open to suggestions, I probably can't implement much more due to various limitations. I am looking into doing better de-interlacing but it'll be quite the task. The b...

Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

You might've misunderstood - 1.04 was a firmware version that has been superceded, it isn't related to the hardware version.

Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

Current status: gearing up for official launch. Even though they have been selling for a while it's been a long road bootstr...

Marshall, There is some fascinating work happening in this thread; they are successfully turning off AA using nothing but gameshark codes. :o http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/is-it-possible-to-disable-anti-aliasing-in-n64-games-via-gameshark-cheats.59916/ I imagine the answer is no, but could a ...

Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

It's normal and is simply due to the nature of the checks. I designed the heuristics to weigh towards too-sensitive. For example Pin17 is normal if there is no audio - the line is stuck low and indistinguishable from an error condition. If you ever see "NO PROBLEMS FOUND" at any point you are good t...
