Re: can't upgrade to v2

How long did the process take? You should see the "Upgrade writing" progress bar for about 10-20 seconds. If it happens instantly it failed somewhere and gave up. Also, remember there is an internal counter to 1.xx firmwares that starts going as soon as you apply power. At 11 seconds it locks out fi...

Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

Of course, all that stuff will be parameterizable, you can adjust the scanline depth, serration etc. Or disable them completely of course :)

Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

Also, I will be at the Midwest Gaming Classic in Wisconsin, Apr 11-12 . The con has gotten bigger every year and I expect it to be a complete mosh-fest again. HDMI and 64drive will be there, as well as some new stuff that I have not publicly announced anywhere! (I won't be selling at the event). Fin...

Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

Lots of people have asked me about doing a "proper" HDMI mod for Gamecube like the N64 one that's going to be out soon. I think you'll all be pleasantly surprised at how clean and pro it is. I am very much considering it, since video wise it presents many of the same "problems" that N64 produces. He...

I am shooting to have 720p as well for a baseline fallback mode. Not sure if it will look very good resampled to fit 720p.

Re: N64 HDMI converter thread

It's going well, all OSD-related functionality. It's now CPU controlled (yes, the thing has its own cpu) and can respond to controller input in various cases

Not much happened with recent Firmware 2.00 release/work and then 64dd dumping efforts. Later today I plan to resume
