Using a Samsung tv and a TV & monitor combo from LG that I bought when I got the HDMI-fpga for my Amiga 1200 :)

I'm not home until tomorrow, but I'll test the NTSC chip then!

Sounds good, I think your TV should just show the picture fine.

Sorry for disappearing. On a whim I bought a house and haven't had any time at all. Trying to get my apartment in order so I can sell it asap. Gonna try the ntsc-chip tomorrow if I can get to that box in the cellar.

$500k poorer, but happy :D Gonna get a proper gaming/tinkering room at last 8-)

Just realized that my new rgb- and region- moded n64 gives a weird picture on the LG monitor and a rolling black and white PAL picture on one of the scart inputs on my Samsung tv. So the timing is kind of screwing with my gear :D On the other scart input the picture is super nice/clear!!!

NTSC PIF is not giving any picture. All my testing equipment is in storage until I've moved, so this small project has to be set on hold even further. I'll get at it once I've moved and set up my playroom 8-)

Sorry, after moving I have had literally no time for this stuff. Right now I don't even know where this stuff is located :( The region free RGB-modded N64 that I bought is working good though. After moving I've mostly been playing NHL 94 with friends on the Mega drive :) But hopefully I can get back to this in the future, if not for anything else to be able to help other folks!

I am planning to at least swap the crystals of my PAL N64 to NTSC values. Perhaps I can make a circuit so you can switch between both. Considering I use a flashcard to run NTSC games, I do not really see any use in adding an NTSC PIF as well.

You beat me to this idea..

One console (PAL or NTSC) loading games using a flashcard outputting HDMI but able to switch base clock frequencies dependant of it you are running NTSC or PAL code - right?
