So far all functionality from the USB side is working, including all save types.
Images can be upload even while the N64 is running, without data loss. While EEPROM couldn't be loaded over USB before, it can now, just like the others.

Also revising the hardware spec for new functionality.

Looking forward to the release! While I know you said all save types, just to make sure, please don't forget about the 768kb SRAM.

Just a couple things left, more testing, and then it should be done.

Beta available!

Release Notes: http://64drive.retroactive.be/rn_fw_200.pdf
Read this first!
Be sure to be running the latest 1.12a menu.

Easy upgrader: http://64drive.retroactive.be/64drive_firm_292.exe
Raw file for use with USB loader: http://64drive.retroactive.be/64drive_firm_292.bin
You will need Windows, a VM may or may not work. I'd suggest borrowing a Windows machine if you don't have one.

Things I'd like feedback on:
1. Test all the CF, SD cards you have. If you have a small 128mb card around somewhere, try it and make sure it works.
2. Play as many games as you can, making sure the save data is never lost. The flushing process happens about 1 second after the game finishes. Specifically, test Donkey Kong 64 to see if it loses save at any point.

Also, after upgrading, you can use the new USB loader for 2.xx here:

The SD card compatibility definitely took a hit with the new menu/firmware.

My 8GB Kingston Class 4 SDHC now just gives a black screen after the little loading animation. Also tested it with a 32GB Flashraptor Class 10 SDHC and that one still works fine.
Well just ordered a 32GB Sandisk Ultra UHS-I SDHC, should arrive tomorrow :D

Also since you asked for a 128MB CF test, that still works too.

I tested with a 1GB and 4GB class 2 SanDisk microSD. Both worked and both took approximately 7.5 seconds to load a 64MB file. I'll do some more tests later, though I think the only other microSD I have is 64MB.
