what about someone who don't know how to do it and wants but doesn't want their system destroyed?
Based on that you will have to either buy a pre-modded console or send your console to a reseller/installer to be modded. Although I believe many of us are hoping to do the installs ourselves.

Please supermario3, just read.
Answers to all your questions are in this thread.
Marschallh will sell the adapter to installers and resellers, whom will then sell premodded N64s or mod your N64.
That has been stated numerous times in this thread and also on the project page.

Have you considered doing a kickstarter for this project? I'm may help to get more people and providers on board, plus possibly help pay for any upfront costs of having multiple boards built at once.

Hello,

Is there any plans to allow for external I/O, I would be very interested in something like this for Hardware TAS, for games such as OOT and MM, do you think you would be able to assist? I wish to parse the frames and various clock lines to interface with the controller inputs and emulate input. The end goal is to allow for partial TAS and allow for extra functions and allow for play controller frame perfect control. If possible I would like to repurpose this project as it has the required grunt to do the processing, do you plan to allow access to JTAG/ISP Programming headers and such when this is released? As this would be very helpful for what I require.

Kind Regards,
