The above reseller is selling them now and I just snagged one of his install services, only 5 more left, get one whilst you can.
So they are selling something that Marshalls site says isn't quick done yet? Seems weird to me...
megalomaniac is a good guy, but selling the kits early is a bit lame.
At least we now have a price estimate, installation service is 164 USD without shipping.

here is a a pic for you non-believers:
Ohhh I'm a believer all right, just thought it was weird that the official site said it wasn't done and at the same time they are being sent to installers...

Anyways, this is good news!

Great videos megalomaniac - shows that you're a decent guy and have good skills. I'm in the UK but I think I'll do the same as the French guy and get an N64 shipped to you from US ebay if that's OK. I'll send you a PM through your site..

That was a fantastic video Megalomaniac, it really helped get an idea into the process behind the installation. Just out of interest, are there installation instructions posted online? I would like to have a look at them if possible.

Really excited to cop one of these from you, megalomaniac.

Does anyone (marshall?) happen to know whether this HDMI converter mod will be compatible with Neverdrive 64?

Since the mod is for the N64 Graphics/Sound output exclusively, and doesn't alter the way the hardware interacts with the cartridge in any way, I'm fairly certain that it should be compatible with the Neverdrive.

(at least that's what I'm hoping for, as that's what I own).

It should also be compatible with standard retail carts and the Neo Myth (if anyone still has one of those)

'llo here
I assume you're talking about Neverdrive (not Neverdrive).
And yes, there are still people with the Neo Myth (and I didn't use mine since a loOong time !)

EDIT : AHAH, i've just realized 'bout that ghostly "N" appearing. Really you got me Mr marshallh :)

So, do we know if anybody is going to sell consoles with the HDMI converter already installed?
Living in EU, I'd much rather get a pre-modded NTSC console than send my old PAL unit. Feels kinda pointless to invest in great picture quality when a lot of the games would be playing slower than intended anyway.
